What are the Bach remedies?

Dr.  Bach   discovered 38 remedies  by empirical approach..  Each remedy is derived from flowers and  scrubs except  one , Rock Water that is  from  spring water. 

In addition Dr. Bach created a special mix of 5 remedies  named Rescue Remedy meant to be used in crisis situation.

After his death , Nora Week  delivered the Rescue Remedy   also  as a  cream  with addition of  Crab Apple. to be used to alleviate  skin issue.

Beech - intolerance and irritation

Centaury - the inability to say 'no'

Chestnut Bud - failure to learn from mistakes

Chicory - possessive and selfish love

Clematis - dreaming of the future without in the present

Crab Apple - the cleansing remedy, also for self-hatred

Elm - overwhelmed 

Gentian - discouragement triggered by a setback

Gorse - hopelessness and despair

Heather - self-centeredness and self-concern

Holly - hatred, envy and jealousy

Honeysuckle - living in the past, nostalgia

Hornbeam - tiredness at the thought of doing something

Impatiens - impatience  

Larch - lack of confidence  

Mimulus - fear of  things we can name

Mustard - deep gloom for no reason

Olive - exhaustion following mental or physical effort

Red Chestnut - over-concern for the welfare of loved ones

Sweet Chestnut - Extreme mental anguish, when everything has been tried and there is no light left

Vervain - over-enthusiasm

Vine - dominance and inflexibility

Walnut - protection from change and unwanted influences

Water Violet- quiet self-reliance leading to isolation

White Chestnut - unwanted thoughts and mental arguments

Wild Oat - uncertainty over one's direction in life

Wild Rose - drifting, resignation, apathy
